Cultivation Area

The cultivation chamber of the HOMEbox Club forms the foundation for a controlled and stable growing environment. It is constructed using high-quality 40 mm sandwich panels that provide excellent insulation. This prevents issues with condensation or moisture buildup inside or outside the chamber, allowing it to be operated in any indoor space that offers sufficient room.

The chamber not only protects against external environmental factors but is also completely lightproof, ensuring precise control over light cycles. With dimensions of 6 × 3 × 2.8 meters, it offers enough space to supply cannabis for approximately 50 to 100 members.

Its robust construction, including a premium-quality door, ensures long service life and allows for easy cleaning and disinfection.

HVAC

The included HVAC system of the HOMEbox Club is designed to create the perfect balance of temperature, humidity, and CO₂ exchange. Built as a semi-loop system, the climate unit combines 3,000 m³/h recirculated air with the addition of 1,000 m³/h of fresh outside air. This ensures sufficient CO₂ supply and exhaust, while maintaining energy-efficient climate control.

A key feature is the innovative reheat function, which redirects exhaust heat into the incoming air. Unlike conventional HVAC systems, this reduces the need for electric reheating, allowing the unit to operate more efficiently and sustainably while maintaining the desired climate values.

Dehumidification

The humidification system of the HOMEbox Club is a key component in creating the ideal microclimate for plant growth. Two high-performance ultrasonic humidifiers with a capacity of 14 kg/h ensure precise control of humidity levels.

A unique feature of this system is its ability to reuse condensate from the HVAC system, significantly reducing overall water consumption. Alternatively, fully demineralized water (DI/RO) can be manually supplied to prevent buildup and minimize maintenance.

The consistent distribution of humidity supports healthy plant development by maintaining optimal moisture levels throughout all growth stages.

Exhaust System

The efficient EC exhaust system is essential for neutralizing odors and maintaining a stable CO₂ concentration within the grow chamber. Integrated into the HOMEbox Club, the exhaust system works in tandem with the HVAC unit as part of a semi-loop configuration.

It consists of a high-performance activated carbon filter and an EC technology extraction fan. Unwanted odors are reliably removed from the exhaust air, while CO₂ is supplied in sufficient quantities to meet the plants’ needs.

Grow Tables

The HOMEbox Club is equipped with four ebb-and-flow plant tables from the German manufacturer Knecht, enabling efficient and straightforward irrigation of the plants. Thanks to the ability to drain excess water, no waterlogging occurs, even when using an automated irrigation system — protecting root health at all times.

Each table measures 2.8 m × 1.1 m × 0.55 m, providing ample space for a large number of plants. Built-in fixtures for plant support nets ensure optimal stabilization, which is especially beneficial for tall or flowering plants.

Lighting

The lighting system of the HOMEbox Club utilizes 16 SANlight EVO 5-150 LED fixtures, specifically engineered for indoor cultivation. These LEDs provide a perfectly balanced light spectrum that supports plant development across all stages — from germination to flowering.

The layout is designed to ensure uniform light distribution across the entire grow area, effectively minimizing shadowing. Thanks to the high energy efficiency of SANlight LEDs, operating costs are reduced without compromising on light quality.

Control Unit

The included Grow Control Industrial Light control cabinet enables centralized management of all system components. Thanks to its intuitive user interface and Wi-Fi integration, temperature, humidity, lighting, and irrigation can be easily configured and monitored via a web interface.

The cabinet is powered through a CEE16 plug, eliminating the need for an electrician. All necessary sensors and actuators — such as the lighting system — are connected using pre-configured, plug-and-play cables supplied with the system.

Room Dimensions and Structural Conditions

  • Floor area: Minimum dimensions of 9.2 m × 3.6 m (L × W) are required for installation and operation.

  • Ceiling height: At least 3 m to allow for trouble-free installation.

  • Load capacity: The floor must support a minimum load of 600 kg/m².

  • Leveling: The floor should meet the DIN 18202 (Group 3) standard for flatness to ensure stable installation.

Electrical Supply

Power Outlets:

  • CEE16 socket: For the control cabinet and system management.

  • CEE32 socket: For powering the HVAC system.

Circuit Protection:

  • The CEE16 socket must be protected by a C16/3 circuit breaker.

  • The CEE32 socket must be protected by a C32/3 circuit breaker.

Water Supply and Drainage

  • Water supply: Manual filling of the humidifier with fully demineralized water (DI/RO) must be possible.

  • Condensate drainage: A drain line must be available to handle up to 150 liters of condensate per day from the HVAC system.
